The audited amount of the fund (expressed entirely in and c. according to the agreed rate of exchange) should be stated to me as on the 31/12/08:

it should first be increased (if this has not already been done) by any sums (such as interest or contribu- tions) which become due prior to or on the 31/12/08; but had not then been received; anu (similarly) diminished by any sums (such as instalments of pen- sions, refunds of part of any contributions, ana expenses) which were payable prior to or on the 31/12/08 but had not then been discharged.
